9:30 AM – 5:00 PM

--------------------

Foundation for Jewish Camp is thrilled to open registration for our 2026 Southeast Regional Gathering! This day-long program for Southeast Overnight Camp Professionals will take place on Thursday, February 26th2026. The event will be hosted at the Dupree Building in Atlanta, GA.

This registration form will serve as your RSVP for the program. Please fill out this form once per attendee.

Registration Deadline: Thursday, February 5th, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS:

This event is designed to bring together the region's overnight camp professionals for a day of learning, community-building, and professional growth.

Some highlights of our time together will include:

  • Networking: This gathering will give folks the chance to network and connect with other Southeast Jewish Camp Professionals. Professionals who are newer to the field can learn from and connect with field veterans, and those who have been in the field for decades can hear fresh perspectives and ideas from new faces and voices.
  • Marketing Content: Learn from Josh Kroo, Vice President of Marketing, North America Sparkling Flavors Brands at Coca-Cola. Josh brings years of marketing and branding experience and will share about how some of those same principles used in the corporate world can apply to marketing at camp.

  • Sessions on Care & Community at Camp: Together with facilitators and artists Caroline Rothstein and Carlos Andrés Gómez, participants will engage in workshops on: developing a clear understanding of their camp’s story; building tangible tools and skills for having difficult conversations at camp; cultivating a culture of wellness and belonging at camp; and allowing the byproducts of these skillsets to serve as a springboard for building sustainable staff retention.

WHERE: Our day of programming will all take place at The Dupree Building (6120 Powers Ferry Rd NW, Atlanta, GA 30339).

WHEN: The gathering will be on Thursday, February 26th, 2026. Attendees should arrive at 9:30 AM for check-in, coffee, and a light breakfast. Programming will start at 10:00 AM and end at 5:00 PM. In service of our goals to build and strengthen this community, we expect attendees to be present for the full length of the program.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

  • This program is for camp professionals who work in a year-round capacity for a Southeast Overnight Camp that is in FJC's network.
  • This program is perfect for those who work on-site at camp during the summer (i.e. directors, program coordinators, etc.), and is also well-suited to those who work directly on camp programming and operations, whether they spend their summer on site or not (i.e. development professioanls, marketing/recruitment professionals, etc.)

  • We welcome a reange of levels of tenure/experience in the field and at your camp. Seasoned Executive Directors, new Assistant Directors, early-career professionals, veterans of the field – all are welcome and encouraged to attend.
  • We recommend that at least 2 people per camp attend the gathering, though more are very welcome. One of the attendees from each camp should be the Camp Director. We encourage you to bring as many members from your year-round team as you feel would benefit from the program.
  • Because one of the main goals of this gathering is to build community as a region of Southeatst Camp Professionals, we encourage you to come even if you may not know other people attending.

Please note that any subsidies that we can offer will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
