Cornerstone Event Interns
The Cornerstone Seminar is a gathering for returning camp staff from 70+ camps across North America and around the world! Event Interns are an integral part of the FJC staff, supporting logistics and operations while in-person, gaining mentorship and professional development from members of the faculty team, and contributing the programming aspects of the seminar.

Shared hotel accommodations, meals, and transportation costs within North America are all covered by FJC. Interns will additionally earn a stipend of $1,500 for their work over the two seminars.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage an assigned “zone” of camp: Support faculty-led sessions with materials, set-up, timing, AV, and in-session needs

  • Collaborate with faculty to co-design and co-facilitate a program at the May seminar

  • Organize, inventory, and distribute program supplies for sessions
  • Provide hospitality support by welcoming participants and answering questions
  • Contribute to seminar-wide programming through subcommittee work (e.g., song/dance, davening/prayer, theme) and by joining optional all-faculty virtual planning days
Requirements:
  • Must be 18-years-old by January 5, 2026
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Required dates (in person at Capital Camps & Retreat Center in Waynesboro, PA):
    • Faculty Planning Seminar: January 5-8, 2026
    • Cornerstone Seminar: May 14-21, 2026
All are encouraged to apply! Preference will be given to Cornerstone alumni and those working at camp in 2026.

If you have any questions, please email Lauren Berger at lauren.berger@jewishcamp.org.
The Cornerstone Alumni Board (CAB)
Members of the Cornerstone Alumni Board (CAB) will work with the FJC team as lay leaders to guide the themes and educational goals of the Cornerstone May Seminar.

Responsibilities:
  • Choosing the Cornerstone theme along with the FJC team
  • Vetting high-level Cornerstone content, including program ideas, schedule changes, and educational material
  • Consulting on Cornerstone swag to evaluate relevance and impact
  • Acting as a Cornerstone ambassador
Requirements:

  • Applicants must be alumni of the Cornerstone Fellowship
  • All meetings will take place virtually and will be scheduled based on the availability of the group selected
  • CAB members will have the opportunity to attend the Cornerstone May Seminar

This is a volunteer opportunity, in which board members will gain key experience as lay leaders, exposure to Cornerstone's planning process, and access to mentorship and one-on-one opportunities with Cornerstone's faculty. Third-year CAB members, called Siyyum, have the opportunity to contribute programmatically to the conference.

If you have any questions, please email Henry Weltman at henry.weltman@jewishcamp.org.

Save and Resume

Saving Data

You can stop the application at any time and save your work up to that point.

  • The “Save-and-Resume” function (available at the top or bottom of this questionnaire) will allow you to save progress, and return to that exact spot in the questionnaire at another time.
  • When you choose to “Save-and-Resume”, you will need to submit your email address and a password.
  • Thereafter, you will receive a link to access the incomplete questionnaire in the future. If you do not see the email in your inbox, please check your spam folder.
  • This link can be accessed at any time by anyone with the correct credentials, and will save your work up to the exact spot where the questionnaire was saved when the link was sent.
  • When you get back to the questionnaire through the proper credentials, you will be dropped at the beginning of the questionnaire. Please note that as you advance through the questionnaire to get back to where you left off, your updated data will be in each question you already responded to.
  • Once you have responded to questions beyond the exact spot where you left off, you will need to start the "Save-and-Resume" process over to do it again.  You can go through the “Save-and-Resume” process as many times as needed.

Video Question
Please respond to the following question by video and upload or link your submission here. Please record a new video, do not provide an example from a previous engagement.

We want to get to know your personality and how you communicate! Record a short (no longer than 4 minutes please!) “how to” video on any topic of your choosing. Teach/show us how to do something that you love/sparks your curiosity/that life hack we just all need. (Examples: how to tie your shoes, how to play a game/icebreaker, how to lead your favorite prayer, etc.)

If you want to link your video, we recommend uploading it to YouTube as an unlisted video, or uploading it to Google Drive and adjusting the share settings so anyone with the link can view it.
