Cornerstone 2025 New Faculty Application

Thank you for your interest in joining Foundation for Jewish Camp's Cornerstone 2025 Team! As a member of the team, you will help provide important professional development, educational content, and support to returning camp counselors and senior leadership across the field of Jewish camp!

This application can be used to apply for Cornerstone Faculty Educator roles. Please fill out this application if you are interested in being considered to be a Faculty Educator in the content areas of Diverse Perspectives or Sports.

New faculty members are compensated at a rate of $6500.

Applications are due by 11:59pm PST on October 27, 2024.

The Cornerstone team will let participants know during the week of October 28th whether of not they have been selected to move forward to the virtual interview stage.

Interviews will be held via Zoom during the week of October 28th.

Hiring decisions will be made during the week of November 4th.

*for virtual planning gatherings, please hold all 4 hours — you might not be needed for all 4 hours.

Final Reflections

Cornerstone (just like camp) can be a stressful environment! Cornerstone is also a loving and supportive community. If hired to the Cornerstone faculty, you are fully committing to the roles and responsibilities of the faculty position as an independent contractor of FJC. This includes attending all required meetings (listed on the first page of this form) in their entirety, submitting all materials on or before their deadlines, and responding to requests from the FJC staff in a timely manner. Should a conflict arise, you will make requests for any exceptions well in advance of the meeting/deadline at hand.

As an Educator, you can anticipate 20 hours of individual and small group work on your own time between the January and May Seminars.
